Executive Secretary

The executive secretary ensures smooth administrative operations of the Southern Union and its associated entities. He assists the president in preparation for Southern Union Executive Committee meetings, union sessions, conference sessions, and administrative/departmental council meetings. He also is responsible for the preparation and distribution of minutes to the union’s boards and committees, as well as for the management of such items as working policy, statistics, credentials/licenses, and retirement.

The executive secretary is vice-chair of the Southern Adventist University Board of Trustees and serves on several boards and committees, including Oakwood University, Florida Hospital, AdventHealth, North American Division Committee, and North American Division Secretariat Caucus.
