Prisons around the country are filled to capacity with inmates, but is God’s message of forgiveness and hope also entering these prisons? The Southern Union Conference of Seventh-day Adventists’ Prison Ministries department strives to meet each inmate where they are and bring them the message of God’s forgiveness, righteousness, and plan for a better life.

The Southern Union Prison Ministries department provides resources and leadership to constituent conferences’ Prison Ministries personnel in order to ensure hope and light is being brought into some of the darkest corners of society.

The Southern Union Conference Prison Ministries Convention will benefit all volunteers who visit those who are incarcerated as well as those who minister to the families of those who are incarcerated. Administrators, departmental directors, pastors, and members will find the weekend inspirational and educational.

This annual event will have various presentations to increase your understanding and enlarge your vision regarding the opportunities to serve in even more meaningful ways.

Isaiah 30:21 (NKJV) says, “Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, “This is the way, walk in it,” Whenever you turn to the right hand or whenever you turn to the left.”
