Government Liaison Representatives (GLR)
The Government Liaison Representative, or GLR, program is a service for church members in the eight states that make up the Southern Union territory. Along with the guidance and assistance of the Public Affairs and Religious Liberty team, each state has a GLR who is an appointed layman or pastor who lives in or near a state capital. They act as watchmen, helping to monitor state legislative actions.
Each state in the Southern Union has a different legislative calendar. Click here for a list of the current dates of your state’s session. (coming soon)
